The short beginner course focused on using basic vocabulary and simple grammar in various communicative situations.
1) beginners who have started learning Ukrainian by themselves (able to recognize Cyrillic, knowing up to 300 vocabulary items, but lacking interaction experience);
2) students with no prior knowledge of Ukrainian who plan to go to Ukraine, want to surprise their Ukrainian friends with a short talk, or simply wish to explore the language.

The course content includes the alphabet, greetings, introductions, giving and asking for personal information (profession, origin, age, and hobbies), people and places, transport, time and plans, expressing needs, wishes, and emotions (disclaimer: swear words included). After completing the course, you can test your skills in a 3-minute individual conversation with a native speaker.
